I need a script (shortcut) that they can click and it will "Scan For Hardware Changes". The users operating these devices are secretive to the corporation, are not tech savvy at all, and have very limited support. Opening Device Manager and right clicking on the computer name and selecting "Scan For Hardware Changes"įixes the issue. The USB 3.0 controller drives the GOBI (broadband) card as well, so GOBI also disappearsįrom device manager and subsequently the AT&T connection is dropped and is no longer an option to connect.
